Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine- and medium-pitch custom gears, is proud to celebrate the retirement of Roy Garcia in December 2023. Garcia was part of the Forest City Gear team as Gear Finishing Technician for more than five years.

According to Secondary Machining Supervisor Mark Sweet, Garcia offered many improvement suggestions within the department, most of which were implemented during his tenure. “Roy was a dedicated and skilled employee in the art of gear finishing. His keen eye, attention to detail, and versatility within the department were exceptional,” says Sweet. “Roy’s positive attitude, superb work habits, and his comradery will be missed.”

Garcia chose to celebrate his retirement with a lunch party with his team. Forest City Gear thanks him for his years of service and friendship and wishes him the best in his retirement.
