Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine and medium pitch custom gears, is proud to celebrate the retirement of Mark Nelson. Nelson was with Forest City Gear for nearly 25 years and served as a Secondary Machining Technician and Deburring/Gear Finishing Lead.

According to Kika Young, President of Forest City Gear, “Gear Finishing may not come across as glamorous or have as big or shiny of equipment as other departments, but it is arguably the most critical step in the gear manufacturing process, and the department flourished under Mark’s watchful eye. We are so thankful to have had his loyalty and dedication for nearly 25 years.”
