Forest City Gear Celebrates Retirement Of Roger Surdynski

Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine and medium pitch custom gears, is proud to celebrate the retirement of Roger Surdynski. Surdynski joined Forest City Gear in October of 1994. During his 28 years with the company, Surdynski has held many positions including Purchasing & Expediting Coordinator, Manufacturing Engineer, Set-up Technician, Assistant Supervisor/Set-up Technician, Lead Person, Hobbing Operator, CTO Process Auditor, and most recently, CTO Process Engineer.
According to Kika Young, President of Forest City Gear, “Roger was a loyal and dedicated employee for 28 years. He is a true machinist and gear hobbing expert who added value over the decades. We wish him all the best in his retirement. Cheers to gears, Roger!”
