October 15, 2026

Forest City Gear is pleased to announce the promotion of Lukas Tresemer to Engineering Manager.

Throughout his four years at Forest City Gear, Tresemer has established himself as a strong technical resource, a collaborative teammate, and an advocate for those around him. His natural curiosity and willingness to ask questions, share knowledge, and continually learn have made him a valuable resource across the organization.

“Lukas has proven himself over and over again,” said Kika Young, President of Forest City Gear. “He is a strong technical resource, an advocate for others, and a true team player. He is constantly asking questions, learning from those around him, and looking for ways to grow. He is truly a sponge—and despite how much he knows, he is never pretentious or afraid to ask for help.”

Tresemer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His combination of technical ability, curiosity, and collaborative approach has prepared him well to lead Forest City Gear’s Engineering team as the company continues to tackle increasingly complex precision gear manufacturing challenges.

“With his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, strong technical ability, natural curiosity, and willingness to support others, Lukas is a perfect fit for both this role and the FCG culture,” Young said. “This promotion is very well deserved, and I am excited to see Lukas take this next step.”

Tresemer’s advancement from Process Engineer to Engineering Manager reflects Forest City Gear’s continued commitment to developing talent from within and creating opportunities for team members to expand their knowledge, responsibilities, and leadership.

Forest City Gear congratulates Lukas on his well-earned promotion and looks forward to seeing him continue to grow in his new role.
