Forest City Gear is proud to announce its official sponsorship of the upcoming 2026 Music for HOPE Gala, the signature annual fundraising event for Marshmallow’s Hope. The event will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, the Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, Illinois.

This year’s event features a “90s Throwback Gala” theme, highlighted by live musical entertainment from the old-school hip-hop tribute group Too Hype Crew. All proceeds from the gala directly fund Marshmallow’s Hope’s critical mission to provide at-risk youth and vulnerable families with access to evidence-based mental health care, clinical services, mentorship, and suicide prevention initiatives.

Marshmallow’s Hope is a Rockford-based nonprofit organization that has grown significantly to serve individuals facing mental health challenges and trauma across 88 of Illinois’ 102 counties. By offering direct mentorship and specialized outreach programs, the organization works to eliminate barriers to care and reduce youth suicide rates.

The Music for HOPE Gala kicks off with VIP admission at 6:00 PM, followed by General Admission at 7:00 PM. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Secure your tickets here.
