Forest City Gear Celebrates Kevin Chatfield’s 35th Anniversary

Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine and medium pitch custom gears, is proud to recognize Kevin Chatfield on his 35th anniversary and thank him for his long-term dedication to the company.
Kevin Chatfield is Forest City Gear’s Gear Grinding Department Lead. In this role, Chatfield’s main responsibilities are scheduling work through the department and keeping machines running by working though difficult jobs. Chatfield also designs work holding tooling for new orders. He started at Forest City Gear sandblasting in the finishing department and gained a reputation as a dependable helping hand for various odd jobs around the shop. In his 35 years with Forest City Gear, Chatfield has worked in several departments such as hobbing, toolroom, and secondary machining. Chatfield has attended Koepfer Gear School, Gleason Gear School, AGMA Gear School, and Kapp Gear Finishing School.
